1 – August 22nd : Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal
• Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport
• Meet and greet by our team and transfer to hotel
• Dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu
Day 2 – August 23rd : Kathmandu Sightseeing
• Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari Temple, and Budhanilkantha Temple
• Yatra briefing and preparation for Kailash journey
• Overnight stay in Kathmandu
Day 3 – August 24th : Kathmandu to Dhulikhel/Timmuray
• Visit Doleshwar Mahadev Temple en route
• Scenic drive through the Himalayan foothills
• Overnight stay at Dhulikhel/Timmuray
Day 4 – August 25th : Drive to Nepal–Tibet Border and Kyirong
• Complete Nepal and Tibet immigration formalities
• Cross into Tibet and proceed to Kyirong
• Overnight stay at hotel
Day 5 – August 26th : Acclimatization Day at Kyirong
• Rest and acclimatization to high altitude
• Light activities and health monitoring
• Overnight stay at hotel
Day 6 – August 27th : Kyirong to Saga
• Scenic drive across the Tibetan Plateau
• Witness breathtaking Himalayan landscapes
• Overnight stay in Saga
Day 7 – August 28th : Saga to Holy Lake Mansarovar
• Drive to the sacred Lake Mansarovar
• First darshan of Mount Kailash from a distance
• Overnight stay at Mansarovar
Day 8 – August 29th : Mansarovar Puja and Drive to Darchen
• Holy bath and spiritual rituals at Lake Mansarovar
• Perform Puja, Havan, and meditation
• Drive to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash
• Overnight stay in Darchen
Day 9 – August 30th : Kailash Parikrama: Day 1 (Darchen to Dirapuk)
• Visit Yamadwar and begin the sacred Parikrama
• Trek to Dirapuk with magnificent North Face darshan of Mount Kailash
• Overnight stay at Dirapuk Guest House
Day 10 – August 31st : Kailash Parikrama: Day 2 (Dirapuk to Zutulpuk)
• Cross the sacred Dolma-La Pass (18,600 ft)
• Darshan of Gauri Kund
• Continue trek to Zutulpuk
• Overnight stay at Guest House
Day 11 – Sep 1st : Kailash Parikrama Completion and Drive to Saga
• Complete the final phase of Parikrama
• Drive back to Saga
• Overnight stay in Saga
Day 12 – Sep 2nd : Saga to Kyirong
• Return journey through the Tibetan Plateau
• Overnight stay in Kyirong
Day 13 – Sep 3rd : Kyirong to Kathmandu
• Complete immigration formalities and re-enter Nepal
• Drive back to Kathmandu
• Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Departure from Kathmandu
• Breakfast at hotel
• Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport

Included in the Yatra Package
Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and spiritually enriching pilgrimage experience. The Yatra package includes:
• Accommodation in Kathmandu and Tibet/Nepal as per the itinerary on twin/triple sharing basis.
• Pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the Yatra.
• Airport pick-up and drop-off services as per the group schedule.
• All local transportation by comfortable tourist coaches and vehicles.
• Necessary Tibet travel permits and visa processing assistance.
• Services of experienced tour coordinators, guides, and support staff.
• Kailasa Parikrama luggage transportation by yak/yakman (for permitted luggage weight).
• Basic medical support including oxygen cylinders and pulse oximeters for high-altitude safety.
• Group sightseeing as mentioned in the itinerary.
• Duffel bag and essential Yatra kit (subject to availability).
• Spiritual guidance and group satsangs under the divine guidance of Pujya Gurudev Sri Sadamalananda Nadha.
• Completion Certificate from Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan.

Exclusions
The following expenses are not included in the Yatra package:
• International and domestic air tickets unless specifically mentioned.
• Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, internet, shopping, beverages, tips, etc.
• Travel and medical insurance.
• Pony, porter, palanquin (doli), horse, or personal assistance charges during Kailasa Parikrama.
• Single room accommodation charges.
• Expenses arising from flight delays, cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, political disturbances, natural calamities, pandemics, or any unforeseen circumstances.
• Additional accommodation, transportation, or meal expenses due to personal reasons or emergencies.
• Any service not specifically mentioned under "Included in the Yatra Package."

Booking & Registration Policy

  • Booking & Registration Policy
    • Registration will be confirmed only after submission of the completed application form, passport copy, and prescribed advance payment.
    • Passport must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the Yatra completion date.
    • Participants must submit all required documents within the stipulated time.
    • Full payment must be completed before the final deadline communicated by the organizers.
    • Registration is subject to approval of travel permits and visa requirements.

  • Health & Fitness Policy
    • Kailasa Manasa Sarovara Yatra involves travel at altitudes exceeding 18,000 feet and requires good physical health.
    • Participants are advised to undergo a medical examination before registration.
    • Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan reserves the right to restrict participation in Parikrama activities if a participant's health condition poses a safety risk.
    • Any medical evacuation or emergency expenses shall be borne by the participant.

    • The Yatra itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, government regulations, road conditions, permit issues, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond the organizers' control.
    • Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan and its associates shall not be held responsible for losses, delays, injuries, accidents, illness, or additional expenses arising from such situations.
    • Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the organizers, guides, and support staff throughout the pilgrimage.

  • If a participant cancels the Yatra, the following charges may apply:

1. Who can participate in the Kailash Yatra?

Answer: Anyone between the eligible age limits who is physically fit and has a strong spiritual aspiration can participate. A basic health assessment is required before confirmation.

4. What are the dates of Kailash Yatra 2026?

Answer: The yatra is scheduled from 22nd August to 4th September 2026. The itinerary includes travel, acclimatization, darshan of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, and the sacred parikrama.

2. Is Kailash Yatra physically challenging?

Answer: Yes. The yatra involves high-altitude travel (up to approximately 5,630 meters/18,471 feet) and requires walking on uneven terrain. Participants should prepare through regular walking, breathing exercises, and fitness training.

5. Why is Kailash Yatra considered spiritually significant?

Answer: Mount Kailash is revered as the divine abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Pilgrims undertake this sacred journey for spiritual purification, inner transformation, blessings, and deepening their connection with the Divine.

3. What health conditions may restrict participation?

Answer: People with severe heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious respiratory disorders, recent major surgeries, or other significant medical conditions should consult their doctor and disclose their medical history before registering.
